Thirteen wines in the Mercurey appellation. Each comes from a named plot, a soil, an aspect, and gives a wine no other would give.
One terroir, thirteen expressions
The estate farms fourteen hectares in Mercurey, three and a half of them Premier Cru. Pinot Noir gives nine red wines, Chardonnay four whites. All are hand-harvested, sorted berry by berry and aged in French oak.
Each wine has its own ratio of new barrels, tuned to the character of the plot: the oak must carry the wine, never cover it.

A wine for keeping, poised between power and structure, with very silky tannins and a mineral finish bringing freshness. It refines gradually towards a smoother texture after a few years, the most complete of the estate’s Premiers Crus.

A wine of great energy and suppleness, richly fruited, wrapped in very silky tannins. A rich nose of black fruit, spice and a liquorice note. The palate is concentrated and generous, juicy fruit balanced by salinity. Medium-term keeping.

This special cuvée, from a parcel of vines over a hundred years old, gives a dense, concentrated, sappy wine, yet one that preserves finesse and fruit. A pulpy juice with a nervy sap running through it; its tannic grip on the finish signals real ageing potential.

This parcel yields a precise, straight, thoroughbred and mineral wine. The aromas favour finesse over exuberance, evolving over time towards dried fruit, citrus, white flowers and acacia. The palate is taut and linear, then lingers and opens with time.
