Fifteen wines in the Mercurey appellation. Each comes from a named plot, a soil, an aspect, and gives a wine no other would give.
One terroir, fifteen expressions
The estate farms twelve hectares in Mercurey, four and a half of them Premier Cru. Ten cuvées are born of Pinot Noir, five of Chardonnay. All are hand-harvested, sorted berry by berry and aged in French oak.
Each wine has its own ratio of new barrels, tuned to the character of the plot: the oak must carry the wine, never cover it.
